Tragic: Amy Winehouse Found Dead

So tragic, however, un-shocking as it is, singer Amy Winehouse was found dead in her Camden, North London, home at 4:00pm London time, from an apparent drug overdose. She was 27. Winehouse was a powerhouse talent, but her drug use and law troubles proved greater. A true original in music and in fashion, Amy Winehouse will be truly missed. She leaves a void in this world that she alone created, and which she alone could ever fill. May she finally rest in peace.

Inspiration: Coldplay

Coldplay is hands down my favorite band. Aside from the obvious genius of their music, another reason I love them is the dedication to every concept they pair with their current album. They may not be an obvious fashion symbol, but Coldplay has their own unique brand of style. From the clean, technology driven look of "X&Y" to the retro-war inspired outfits of "Viva La Vida", they definitely dress the part and commit themselves 110%. Their latest endeavor "Every Tear Drop is a Waterfall" is no exception. From the visually upbeat melodic rhythm, to the stunning music video, to the colorful album cover & promo photos, Coldplay once again manages to reinvent themselves, separate themselves from the music scene and do what they do best: be an original. A true inspiration to all, both in fashion and music.

My apologies for neglecting you....

Life took charge end of April 2011 and I have been non-stop since! In a fresh switch from Fashion PR I have entered the fashion world of Wholesale. Just spent the last week in Cali though, and I have been re-inspired in my conquest. As a lifelong New Yorker I already had all my preconceived notions of the West Coast, but I was wrong. Los Angeles is doable and I am VERY tempted to leave my fast-paced, no bullshit, couture sense of being, fashion base on the East Coast for a sleepy, easy come easy go, working to live (not living to work) state of mind fashion in Los Angeles..... What to do? What to do?
