Obsessed: My Dream Living Room

Image courtesy of Elements of Style

And the worst kept secret in fashion is......

As if no one saw this coming! After her very publicized exit from Vogue Paris, the fabulous Carine Roitfeld is set to launch her own fashion magazine next Fall! Rumor has it the magazine will be in English and will be a quarterly publication, set to premiere next Fall with an epic September issue (fashion overdoes!).
Carine is even flirting with the idea of creating the magazine a la Oprah, simply naming it Carine Roitfeld and appearing on the cover each time with a special guest. My money is on Tom Ford for her first cover! EPIC!

Obsessed: Adele Vogue UK October

On the subject of talented and gorgeous women, Adele is Vogue UK October issue's cover girl and she looks absolutely stunning. Very fierce. Nevermind that I have had "Someone Like You" on replay for the past month, this cover is one more reason to love Adele. Breaking barriers both in fashion and in music.

Love: Leona Lewis

Leona Lewis may have pushed back her album release of Glassheart until 2012, but the cover looks great! Talented and gorgeous.

Love: Bottega Veneta SS12 Milan

To Mr. Tomas Maier, I have one word for you: BRAVO! I absolutely loved the Bottega Veneta SS12 Collection. The colors were absolutely radiant, and the finale of gowns was like a dream. If atleast not one of those gowns is rocked by a Hollywood starlet come awards season, I don't know what their stylist are thinking.

Obsessed: Moschino SS12

From the bolero jackets, and matador-inspired looks, keeping true to the late designers original make, Moschino was absolutely refreshing. I loved the splash of sunshine yellow, and all the adornment and attention to detail was impeccable. Rosella Jardini, you receive a standing ovation from me!

Milan Fashion Week SS12

London Fashion Week came and went, and we are now off to Milan Fashion week! So far the runways have been abundant with new, fresh designs, as well as staple pieces such as long pleated skirts, and flowey blouses. Here are some of my favorite, notable mentions from the past couple of shows. I know Blumarine isn't always a crowd favorite, but I have been obsessed with the line for years, and the flower-power dresses and cropped jackets this season didn't disappoint. As for Prada, its Prada. You can always count on a classic such as Prada:

Best Dressed: Emmys 2011

Here are my Top 3 best dressed for this past weekends Emmy Awards:
1. Nina Dobrev in this stunning Donna Karan dress HAS to be #1. I don't care how many red dresses strolled down the red carpet that evening, Nina looked stunning! The fit, the design, the hair, the make-up, the accessories...absolute perfection.

2. Sofia Vergara can do no wrong, and the Emmys were no exception. What I absolutely love about Sofia is that she plays up all her sexy curves. She isn't afraid to look sexy, sultry and glamourous all at once. The color of this Vera Wang creation looks gorgeous against her skin and the earrings are to die for!
3. I know alot of people put Ms. Seal on the "Worst Dressed List" for the Emmys, but I absolutely LOVED Heidi Klum in this fun Christian Siriano dress. I thought it was fun and flirty, and perfectly fit Klum's personality and style.

Obsessed: Angelina Jolie Vanity Fair Oct.

If there was any doubt that Angelina Jolie is perhaps the most gorgeous woman on the face of this planet, the Vanity Fair October cover should debunk all doubts. I have ALWAYS been on Team Jolie, and I am stunned to see her epic cover this month. Jolie embodies the very epitome of a true Hollywood Icon, beautiful, classic, talented and philanthropic, and what Jolie would consider her greatest accomplishment: a mother.

NYFW SS12 Wrap-up (cont'd)

While my favorite by far was Carolina Herrera, I must admit she wasn't the only one to turn heads and make people sit up in their seat. Other notable mentions this season are Christian Siriano and Diane von Furstenberg, who also brought a fresh, colorful Spring look to the runway.

NYFW SS12 Wrap-up

I usually have my Top 3 designers for New York Fashion Week, but this year all I can think about was the Carolina Herrera SS12 Collection. Absolutely stunning, a breath of fresh air! It was the classic lady-like elegance that Herrera is known for, but the flow and color of the dresses, pants, and gowns was like a dream. If I had a dream wardrobe, it would look like this:
