Very few predecessors can ever truly fill the shoes of a designer that forever changed the face of fashion. So few "right-hand" designers are successful when following their teacher, but Sarah Burton has truly kept true to the McQueen brand, aesthetic and creative, jaw-dropping innovative designs that Alexander McQueen dreamed up with every collection. From her debut, Burton hasn't skipped a beat, and thanks to Burton alone, Alexander McQueen truly lives on.
